Description: Located in a rare region of the Bogden swamps where the terrain is not affected by constant seismic activity, the Denora Academy is a small Jedi academy where combat is the focus. Jedi Master Jase Denora is a man who spent half of his life living in death; and does not believe in any form of peace.

Accepting the reality that conflict is inevitable, the grim Jedi Master teaches his students how to survive in any combat scenario. The teachings of using the Force and one's emotions as a tool to succeed in a mission may be a bit unorthodox, but Jase is very selective of his students.

All students must request to be enrolled. There is no pre-selection. All must pass rigorous tests, including killing a renda bear with whatis available in the surrounding swamps, in order to be accepted into the school. As a final exam, a student must face Jase in one-on-one combat. If they can survive two minutes without losing to him, they are sent off to find masters to be padawans under.

Jedi Knight and apprentice to Jase, Fata, maintains some administrative and teaching duties, as well as handling external matters when Jase is indisposed.

It had been awhile since they had last visited the Outer Rim territories, Fata felt a surge of excitement being back out in the field.  She felt that too much of her time now of days has been spent training Nephtis.  Her own training was falling behind of where she wanted it, and she did her best to ensure that it didn't show that it bothered her slightly.  But she happy at the progress Nephtis had been making.

"I Understand, I'll inform Master Denora right away."  Fata spoke with barely concealed excitement.  The moment she got all the details, Fata rushed off down the halls, only slowing to sneak by Nepthis, tossing something at her when she wasn't paying attention to see if she could catch her off guard.  "We got a mission, grab your gear and meet me at in the Fury."  She said, not waiting for her to reply.  When she arrived to Master Denora, he was at his usual spot.

"Master Denora, we have been requested to look into a matter concerning Thalassian Slavers in the outer rim."  As she spoke, Fata rocked back and forth on her heels before calming herself and finding a seat near him.  Her excitement settling as she waited to see what he thought.

Jase sat silently, more of hovered, as it was; while Fata came in and excitedly reported to him. There was a holoscreen in front of him, which displayed an explosive device in the hangar. Around, tools floated silently in the air, weaving in and out of the casing and disarming the box. Precision was a focus at this academy. Jase sighed and let go of his grip on the tools through the Force and they came clattering down. Even Masters worked to hone their skills.

He quietly set his feet on the ground and closed the holoscreen, never turning to face Fata. Invisible tendrils of the Force wrapped around her and squeezed her tight, keeping her motionless.

"I hate it when you're giddy. I taught you better than that. Ready the ship." He then turned to face her and released his grip as he walked by.

Admittedly her over active personality was present often, but she had honed it down to an acceptable compromise.  But the boredom she had felt recently because of the lack of conflict had left her yearning for something more.  So, admittedly, she had been a bit over zealous with her joy with the recent news.  Having been released, Fata felt a surge of adrenaline at being handle with the force. "Understood."  She said, though the moment he was out of sight, a small skip was added to her step as she stopped by her room, grabbing some equipment she thought she may need before heading to the hanger.

The Modified YT-2400 Freighter was sitting in its usual spot, she dropped her box off before doing a few system checks as she headed into the cockpit and began checking things for their journey.  Everything seemed to be in order still, it was an older ship, but it was well kept from what she could tell.  Not that she knew all too much about ships and space fairing, just what she needed to know to travel and survive.

[Nephtis]

Today had been like any other day, wake up, eat, train, and be mindful of her surrounding lest she get assaulted at any second by Master Jase or Fata. She had been informed in the past that Master Denora could see shatter points in not only objects, but also how a person may affect an event and change how that event may transpire. It sounded interesting, but she was having no luck. She looked like she was just staring at a large box in a mildly lit room. She was concentrating so much that she didn't notice someone sneak past her, throwing a small metal cube at her head, breaking her concentration, but also most likely leaving a nice bump atop her head. Glaring in the direction it came from, she was hit by a second one from another direction followed by a familiar voice. "We got a mission, grab your gear and meet me at in the Fury."

With a heavy sigh she headed to her room grabbing what she assumed she may need for a journey. One of the times she was asked to prepare for a mission, she was left on somewhere on Bogden and was asked to find her way back to the academy. It had sucked, and she didn't ever want to be caught with her pants down in something like that again.

"Haven't seen you this excited since that time on Denon." With a warning look from Fata, Nephtis decided against elaborating further. "So, what are we doing this time? I really hope it's not another diplomatic mission of any sort." Though, truth be told, she had only ever been on one, and had the planet not been beautiful, she found it would have been a total waste of a few days.

"Were you so fortunate." Fata grumbled. "But why you are here, you can double check that everything in the ship is secure." Fata said, purposefully not telling her. Fata herself wasn't sure how long this mission would be. They were requested to look into the matter of some slavers, depending on how big their enterprise was, if it could even be called that, the length of time would vary. "You will find out what we are doing when you need to. Though dangling you out naked like some piece of ass has not crossed my mind so far." Fata joked. She felt her padawan shudder at the thought, because she knew it could be a possibility.

[Jase Denora]

"The renda bears are about to begin mating season. Perhaps I should submit you both to new survival training.", Jase said, walking up to his two students. He was pulling a hovercart loaded with the usual crates of weapons and supplies for missions.

He eyed the two women with an emotionless stare and gestured them onward. "Come, we must review the details we have been given."

"The renda bears are about to begin mating season. Perhaps I should submit you both to new survival training." Despite his threats of new training, she doubted she would have much trouble. Even without the force to guide and manipulate the bears, she would find the challenge he presented as a gift. There was very few things she feared in the galaxy. Most of them she doubted she would ever be confronted with. Looking at the cart he brought with him, he was more prepared for what was to come then either of them. Though Fata felt on her end, it was more that she was a person of simple tastes. She would rather use what she loved than having to carry more equipment.

With everything stowed, they sat around a table where Fata brought up a star chart. "One of our sources have requested our help in investigating a group of Thalassian slavers lead by someone they refer to as the Blood Prince of Thalassia. They have been getting greedy and pulling their stock further and further from within the Outer Rim and are becoming too big. Outside of their main base of operations which is said to be on Thalassia itself, we were given much to go on." She shared what other information was given to them, it didn't give her much more to go on.

[Nephtis]

"In a forest, filled with bears capable of eating plants comparable to that of durasteel during their most aggressive time of the year. If I didn't know better, one would think he favored you with such a gift." She on the other hand would prefer to stay in the confines of the academy. It sure beat the streets she grew up on, even if she had to worry about constantly being attacked at any point in the day. She found the ship more comfortable than the academy, especially since so very few of them usually traveled on it.

On the ship Fata gave them what information she had been given. It felt like they were going to have to do all the ground work. "They didn't give us much to go on other than a name and location." She didn't want to sound disgruntled by it, but if they were going to be hired or asked for assistance, they could at least give them more.
